Very unhappy with the service and hair colour
I selected a Uppercut hair salon based on the good online reviews and because it is local. I am getting married in 2 week’s time, so decided to splash out on a more expensive salon with a good reputation, however I am extremely unhappy with their attitude and service. I wanted to go lighter, but instead they made my hair darker(!) When I told them that I was really disappointed with the colour, they suggested that I either pay full price for highlights or continue to wash my hair so that the colour will eventually lighten. I did not expect a professional hair salon to suggest that I continue to wash my hair until it fades to the colour that I want (which will take significantly longer than 2 weeks)! I paid very good money for them to lighten my hair and get the colour right, not for them to tell me this. Eventually, the manager (Keira) reluctantly offered me 15% off highlights after contacting the Uppercut Head Office, which is an insult as I had already spent so much time and money there. I often get my hair coloured and have never ever needed to complain about the colour or cut. I will definitely not be going back to this salon again and wanted to warn others about this place too. Definitely AVOID all Uppercut salons!! They have very poor customer service and do not know what they are doing. It is not worth the time and money, and if you go, you will regret it.

Fantastic hairdressers
I walked into the Romford salon on a whim deciding i couldnt stand my haircut anymore and needed a change, i was greeted warmly and seated with a cup off tea,within 5mins my stylists was ready for me, i was given a excellent consultation and we even decided on added a few highlights to show off the style of my haircut. I am so pleased with the results of my hair, will be recommending all to this wonderful salon.
